Why Sweden recognizes the State of Palestine

In a letter published on Friday on Swedish Foreign Policy News, Swedish minister of Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström announced that the Swedish government recognizes the State of Palestine. This is an important step that confirms the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.

Sweden is the first European State recognizing Palestine.

FT: Merkel considers UK exit from EU

According to Financial Times World News, German chancellor Angela Merkel allegedly warned last week UK PM Cameron that she is prepared to consider a British exit from the EU. According to German news magazine Der Spiegel, Merkel fears that Cameron is leading the UK to a “point of no return”.
